SimDock Terms of Service
Welcome to SimDock. These Terms are an agreement between you and Shanghai Yinzon Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our") and apply to the SimDock applications, website, and related services offered in mainland China and other regions. By registering, signing in, or using SimDock, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
SimDock provides SIM card asset management, expiration reminders, device binding, and encrypted message synchronization across devices. SimDock does not provide eSIM downloading, switching, activation, or carrier network services and is not a substitute for your telecommunications provider. Features may vary by platform, region, device capability, and service version.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must have the legal capacity required in your region. Minors may use the service only with the consent and guidance required from a parent or guardian.
- You must provide accurate, valid registration information and update important information when necessary.
- Your account is for your use. Keep passwords, verification codes, and signed-in devices secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized use, change your password promptly and contact us using the details below.
3. SIM card data and reminders
ICCIDs, phone numbers, carriers, expiration dates, and related SIM card details are entered manually by you. You must be authorized to process the information and keep it accurate. Expiration reminders are a supporting tool and may be delayed or fail due to network conditions, email services, device settings, or inaccurate data. You remain responsible for confirming card status, renewal, and deactivation dates.
4. Message synchronization and permissions
- Collection capabilities on supported message-source devices are off by default and must be enabled individually. SimDock does not read the historical SMS database.
- You may synchronize only messages you are authorized to access and process. You must not use SimDock to monitor others, invade privacy, or break the law.
- Devices used only to view synchronized data do not collect local messages.
- Before replacing, resetting, or disconnecting a device, consider the status of local encryption keys. Losing a key may make historical messages unreadable.
5. Encryption and security boundaries
Message titles and bodies are encrypted on the device with AES-256-GCM, and keys are stored in the operating system's secure storage. Our servers do not possess the key needed to decrypt message content. We take reasonable measures to protect the service, but no network or software is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, screen-lock credentials, and account credentials.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use SimDock to:
- violate applicable laws, court orders, or regulatory requirements;
- infringe privacy, communications secrecy, intellectual property, or other rights;
- access accounts, devices, APIs, servers, or data without authorization;
- distribute malicious code, perform brute-force attacks or automated abuse, disrupt the service, or bypass security controls;
- resell, rent, reverse engineer, or copy the service beyond what the law permits.
When conduct reasonably threatens users, third parties, or service security, we may rate-limit requests, suspend features, or disable accounts as necessary and provide an appeal mechanism where required by law.
7. Software and intellectual property
Intellectual property in SimDock software, interfaces, trademarks, documentation, and content belongs to us or the relevant rights holder. While you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SimDock on supported devices for personal or internal business purposes.
8. Third-party services
SimDock may rely on third parties for anti-bot checks, email delivery, app distribution, and infrastructure. Their own terms and policies may apply. We select providers with care but do not control independently operated third-party networks or systems.
9. Changes and interruptions
We may update the service to improve security, fix issues, meet legal requirements, or enhance the product. Maintenance, outages, force majeure, or third-party failures may temporarily interrupt service. We will try to provide advance notice through the app, website, or email when a change materially affects your rights.
10. Account deletion and termination
You may permanently delete your account in SimDock at any time. Access is disabled immediately, business data is deleted immediately, and recovery is generally impossible. Pseudonymized security audit records that do not store raw email addresses or IP addresses are automatically deleted after 30 days. See the Account Deletion Guide for details. We may lawfully restrict or terminate service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms or if continued service creates a security or legal risk.
11. Limits of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SimDock is provided as currently available. We do not make guarantees beyond those required by law regarding carrier services, continued card validity, guaranteed reminder delivery, or device and network compatibility. You are responsible for consequences caused by inaccurate information, failure to protect your account or keys, unauthorized processing of another person's data, or breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without depriving you of rights under mandatory consumer protection laws where you live. We encourage the parties to first resolve disputes through good-faith discussion. Unresolved disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction, and users outside mainland China retain any local dispute-resolution routes granted by applicable law.
13. Updates and contact
We may update these Terms as features or laws change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes and request renewed agreement where required. Questions can be sent to yc.zhao@yinzon.com.
